Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the Poddi mobile application for iPhone (the "App") and the website at poddi.aibasetech.com (together, the "Service"), provided by AI Base Tech LLC ("we", "us", "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Poddi is a Bluetooth signal-strength visualizer for iPhone. It listens to public Bluetooth advertising signals broadcast by nearby devices and displays them as a real-time radar to help you locate Bluetooth peripherals. Poddi is a finding aid based on radio-signal strength; it is not a precise positioning, location, asset-tracking, security, or anti-theft system.

2. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on iPhone devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.

You may not: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law; (b) rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or transfer the App; (c) use the App in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others; or (d) attempt to bypass any subscription or technical restriction.

3. Subscriptions (Poddi+)

3.1 What you get

The free tier of the App lets you scan and view Bluetooth devices by signal strength. Poddi+ is an optional auto-renewable subscription that unlocks the full-screen radar with audio/haptic guidance, the find history, saved-device alerts, and other premium features.

3.2 Free trial

New subscribers may be eligible for a 3-day free trial. The trial converts automatically into a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

3.3 Auto-renewal & billing (Apple's required disclosures)

Auto-renewable subscription. Your Poddi+ subscription is purchased through and billed by your Apple ID. The subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (weekly, unless otherwise stated in the App Store at the time of purchase) at the then-current price, until you cancel.

Charges. You will be charged for each renewal period within 24 hours before the start of that period. Prices are shown in your local currency in the App Store and may vary by region.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time through your Apple ID account: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Poddi → Cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid period.

Refunds. Refunds (where required by law or otherwise applicable) are handled by Apple. You can request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com.

No partial refunds. Deleting the App or uninstalling it does not cancel your subscription. We do not provide partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period unless required by law.

3.4 Price changes

We may change subscription prices from time to time. Where required, Apple will notify you in advance and obtain any required consent before applying a new price to your subscription.

4. Your account & use

The App does not require you to create an account with us. Your access to Poddi+ is tied to your Apple ID. You are responsible for safeguarding your Apple ID credentials and for all activity under them.

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any law, (b) infringe the rights of others, (c) interfere with the operation of the Service, (d) attempt to access the Service through means not provided by us, or (e) use the Service to track, surveil, or harass any person or to locate property you do not own or have permission to locate.

5. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

The App integrates with third-party services to deliver core functionality:

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and content, is owned by AI Base Tech LLC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license granted to you in Section 2, no rights in the Service are transferred to you. AirPods, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, MacBook, and HomePod are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. Poddi is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

Bluetooth signal strength is affected by the surrounding environment — walls, metal, batteries, interference, and the specific device's hardware all affect what we can measure. We do not warrant that the App will always identify or correctly locate a particular device, that signal-strength readings will be accurate to any degree, or that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Poddi is a finding aid only. Do not rely on Poddi as a security, anti-theft, recovery, life-safety, navigation, or asset-tracking system, and do not use it in any situation where the failure of the App could result in personal injury, property damage, or financial loss.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will AI Base Tech LLC, its members, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) US$50.00.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service or any premium feature if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us, our users, or our service providers. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7–9 and 11) will continue to apply.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

If you reside in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose mandatory law applies to you regardless of these Terms, nothing in this Section limits your rights under that law.

12. Apple end-user license terms (App Store)

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and AI Base Tech LLC, not with Apple Inc., and that Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. To the extent these Terms conflict with Apple's standard EULA for App Store apps, Apple's standard EULA controls only with respect to terms required by Apple. You acknowledge that Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects when changes took effect. For material changes, we will provide notice in the App or on the website. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
